J.T. Egginton Ltd. (1038325) - Improvement action plan

Standard not met Reason Action being taken by the Pharmacy By when Notification By Pharmacy Improvements Made
3.1

The pharmacy premises are not used in a manner which enable services to be provided safely and effectively. This has led to a disorderly dispensary, and a lack of workspace to enable medicines to be dispensed at the volume sustained by the business.

Dispensary to be decluttered to facilitate better storage of medicines and availability of work space.

All medicines and appliances to be date checked and shelves reorganised/tidied.

Formal recording of date checking to recommence.

Lesser used dispensary items e.g. some dressings and appliances to be stored in reorganised office to increase space in dispensary for medicines.

Explore viability of reducing retail area size, in order to increase dispensary medicine storage space. (If deemed necessary, following decluttering and reorganisation of existing dispensary space)
