Following the inspection, the pharmacy has implemented a documented daily refrigerator temperature monitoring process. The computer software has a daily on-screen reminder enabled which prompts the pharmacy team each morning to check and record the minimum and maximum refrigerator temperatures. The temperature record is now completed every working day and forms part of the pharmacy's opening procedures. The refrigerator temperature monitoring SOP has been reinforced with all members of the pharmacy team and compliance will be monitored by the Responsible Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager through regular audits. |
