Well (1030182) - Improvement action plan

The pharmacy is undergoing significant changes in its processes. And the pharmacy has recently had staff changes. The team members are struggling to complete the workload effectively and in a timely manner. The pharmacy team doesn't have a robust contingency plan when it falls behind on its tasks. This increases the pressure on the team and may impact people using the pharmacy's services.

1) Complete the company staffing and capability document, including review of colleague rota’s and re-profile of hours which align to the new systems and ways of working.
2) Pharmacy colleagues to attend additional training sessions on the new systems at our Centre of Excellence located in neighbouring town (Wigton).
3) Permanent and full-time employment of Pharmacist. Commencing duties end August to work alongside Store Manager.
4) Organise team meeting. Discuss Standards, Patient Safety and review of contingency plans.
